I Give Up

Somehow I knew that picking “Surrender” as my word for the year, would give me plenty of opportunities to embrace it.

Just this weekend, I went on an impromptu road trip. In doing so,  I calculated my arrival time so that it would align perfectly with my plan.

Guess what?

It didn’t happen the way I planned.

As things unfolded, I was keenly aware that the detours, delays and dead car battery were all working together to align with a greater plan.

It was perfect.

Wow . . .
