I was preparing myself all week because I wanted to be ready. I wanted to have a clear and specific answer in case someone were to ask what I wanted to do for mother’s day.
What I really wanted was for my children to remember this day and to show some gesture of appreciation on their own. I wanted my husband to recognize my role and value as a mother and I wanted the day to be a relaxing one that I could truly enjoy.
It turns out that no one ever asked and yet, I got exactly what I wanted.
Wow . . .
Know what you want to get what you want.
That’s my weekly wow. Look for yours this week.
Happy Mother’s Day!
